DEVICE
The Device page is used to review and edit device details and features. As shown in the following example, there are three main areas:
- The upper left side of the page show the high-level identification and connection status on the device. This information remains visible from all the device detail tabs (on the right side of the page) and the device feature pages (in the navigation panel on the lower left side of the page):
- The status indicator (colored dot icon) before the device name shows the connectivity status of the device:
- Red icon indicates that the device is not connected to the Ayla Cloud.
- Green icon indicates that the device is connected to the Ayla Cloud.
- Gray icon indicates that the device has not connected to the Ayla Cloud and is not activated.
- Name of the device (after the status indicator) - is the name of the selected device.
- ID - the Ayla-provided ID number when device was registered.
- Product Name - a user-friendly device name.
- Model - model number of Ayla module.
- SW Version - software version associated with the device.
- User - the user name associated with the device. You can click on the information in this field to open the Details tab of the User page for this particular user.
If you are a customer in the EU, the GDPR feature should be enabled so that Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is not shown. When GDPR is enabled, you must click continue in the message box that displays to open the User page.
- Connected At - the time the device connected to the Ayla Cloud service.
- Activated At - the time when device first connects to the Ayla Cloud service (after the device is manufactured).
- Provisioned At - the time when the device was authorized to connect to the Ayla Cloud service.
- OTA Status - the status of the last Over-the-Air (OTA) job.
- The status indicator (colored dot icon) before the device name shows the connectivity status of the device:
- The right side of the page provides 9 tabs of device details that you can view and edit. Notice also that this is DEVICE in the navigational panel of device features on the lower left corner. Click the name of the tab in the list below for descriptions of the fields and editing instructions.
- The lower left side of the page provides a navigational panel to view, edit, and create device features; each feature has its own page on the dashboard. Click the feature in the list below for descriptions of the fields and configuration steps for the feature.
- DEVICE - this is the Device page; click the name of the tab listed in step 2 (above) for configuration details.
